Releasing baggage to free up space for new abundance. This piece is preserving a collection of emotions displayed by different versions of me. One variation of me, had sketched a headless figure, portals and melting eyes. Time passes, which then leads to a different version of me, who then burns it. The present version of me bears no remorse towards the drawings that turned to ash when I chose to set my sketchbook page ablaze. In doing so I acknowledged and sat with those heavy emotions from the past and created something entirely new and beautiful out of it. Reminding myself change is our natural state & that attachment is of the ego. Teaching me to take time to appreciate the consequential phases we go through as emotional beings.
